The 2025 edition of the International Rare Book Fair organized by SLAM concluded on Sunday, June 15.
We warmly thank the many visitors who braved the summer heat on June 13, 14, and 15 at the Carreau du Temple in the third arrondissement of Paris. This 2025 edition was, once again, an opportunity to share and engage with you.
We had the pleasure of presenting several exceptional items ranging from the 15th to the 19th century, including incunabula, first editions, and illustrated books. Among the most notable works was the original edition of one of the most sumptuous, rare, and precious incunabula or post-incunabula abundantly illustrated, printed by Antoine Vérard between October 1499 and June 1503, combining the six comedies of Terence; the famous Molière bound in 1697 for the Duchess of Burgundy, mother of Louis XV, in red morocco with heraldic arms by Boyet; as well as a magnificent copy of the first edition on large paper of theSentimental Education by Flaubert published in 1870, accompanied by a signed autograph letter addressed to his publisher.
We would like to thank the Syndicate of the Ancient and Modern Bookstore for organizing this Parisian fair and invite you to join us next year for a new celebration of the rare book!
