Looking back on FAB Paris 2025: an unforgettable event at the Grand Palais!

The entire team at Camille Sourget Bookshop would like to thank you – bibliophile friends, visitors, collectors, and enthusiasts – for visiting our stand at FAB Paris 2025, which took place from September 20 to 24 in the prestigious setting of the Grand Palais in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

This edition was an exceptional experience for us, made all the more special by the encounters, discoveries, and conversations we had the pleasure of sharing with you!

We were thrilled to present to the public a selection of works that each, in their own way, reflect the richness and diversity of cultural heritage through the centuries. Among the most remarkable pieces was one of the oldest documents: a rare manuscript leaf from the Book of Amos, dating back to the Carolingian Era (782-800 AD). We also exhibited an exceptional copy of the famous portable Biblia Latina, known as the “Paris Bible” a symbol of 13th-century medieval manuscript culture.

Alongside these treasures, visitors were able to admire the fascinating anatomical plates created by William Cowper in Utrecht in 1750, which combine scientific rigor with artistic sensitivity. Great interest was also sparked by the monumental work of Georges Buffon – from Histoire naturelle des oiseaux in 1770 to the comprehensive Histoire naturelle produced with Lacépède at the end of the 18th century – a 127-volume testimony to the Enlightenment’s drive to understand and classify the natural world.

We extend a special thank-you to the FAB Paris organizing committee for their warm welcome and the thoughtful curation of the cultural program, which once again made this fair an unmissable event.

We hope to see you again very soon at our upcoming events! We are pleased to announce our participation in the prestigious TEFAF 2026 in Maastricht from March 14 to 19 as well as the 66th edition of the New York International Antiquarian Book Fair which will take place from April 30 to May 3 2026.

In the meantime, we invite you to browse our catalogue to discover all the new acquisitions that our Bookshop is preparing to share in France, across Europe… and perhaps even beyond.
